Chocolates are a favorite treat of many people all over the world. But what is it that makes chocolates so special? The answer lies in the cocoa beans from which they are made. In this article, we will take a closer look at cocoa and its origin to better understand how they contribute to the different tastes of chocolates.

This data was scraped from Kaggle.com. Kaggle is an online community platform for all things data and machine learning enthusiasts, it is a huge repository of community-published data.
Data cleaning
This data was cleaned using the Microsoft Excel tool. The excel tool is also capable of sorting, filtering, formatting, analyzing and visualizing data in a variety of ways.
The following steps were employed in the cleaning of this data
I duplicated the data; As a data analyst, it is important to make a copy of the dataset as the first step. This helps to trace where you're coming from.
The null values in the Bean type column were dropped, as there was no sort of correlation with other columns
On the rating column, before the commencement of the analysis, a set of ratings were established which were to be followed by
The rating column had values of (1,1.75,2,2.25,2.5,2.5,3,3.75,4,4.75,5). The already-established ratings were
5 = Elite
4= Premium
3= Satisfactory, 3.75= Praiseworthy
2=Dissapointing
1=Unpleasant
With this information ratings less than a ".5" were rounded down to the nearest whole number and ratings with more than a ".5" were rounded up. Excluding "3.75" as this already had an already specified rating
The broad bean origin had misspellings such as "Eucador", and "Venezueela" . the find and replace function was employed here to have consistency.

This pivot chart shows the U.S.A is the country producing the highest-rated bars.

Here, it shows "Satisfactory" was the most rating across all chocolates

While we love eating chocolates, knowing what's inside what we consume is fair enough.
